Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Hydrodynamic Stability in Porous Media from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, completed in 2009. He earned his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the same institution in 2004, following a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from SRT Campus, HNB Garhwal University in 2002. Dr. Kumar’s professional career is marked by progressive roles at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Since January 2024, he has been serving as Scientist/Engineer ‘SF’ at the Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad. Prior to this, he held positions ranging from Scientist/Engineer ‘SE’ to ‘SD’ at various ISRO centers, including the ISRO Satellite Centre in Bangalore. His journey began as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
