Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she completed the pre-requisite requirements for an MSc in Islamic Finance at the University of Virginia, Affiliate in Cairo, in 2009. Finally, in 2016, she attained her PhD in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University. Her doctoral research, titled 'Social Mobility in Egypt: an intergenerational approach,' was supervised by Dr. Tarek A. Moursi.
