Prof. Wang earned his Ph.D. in Ecology under the supervision of Prof. Zhian Li at the South China Botanical Garden, CAS, in 2010. Prior to this, he obtained his B.S. in Biology from Shandong University in 2005.

Currently, Prof. Wang serves as the Deputy Director of the Ecology and Environment Research Center at the South China Botanical Garden, CAS.
